On-site Yield Measurement and Acceptance of the Demonstration Plot for Youxi Countys National Key County Project for Acidified Cultivated Land Management
Youxi County is located in central Fujian Province, with mainly medium-low mountains and hills within its territory. The total area of the county is 5.133 million mu, among which the cultivated land area is 341,000 mu. The pH value of the cultivated soil is mainly between 4.5 and 5.5, and the acidification of cultivated land has restricted grain production capacity to a certain extent. As one of the first 20 national key counties for acidified cultivated land management, it successfully completed the task of managing 80,200 mu of acidified cultivated land from 2023 to 2024. The average pH value of the soil in the project area increased by 0.28 units, the quality grade of cultivated land was improved, the grain production capacity was enhanced, and the public satisfaction rate reached 95%.
